Our client, a Jewish organization across North America, is looking for a Producer of Events and Video to play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and managing the creative and marketing side of events and video content. This is a fully remote role (can sit anywhere in the US) that likely requires travel domestically for events.
Responsibilities:
Event Production:
- Play a key role in shaping the market positioning and audience engagement strategy for each event while managing the creative elements of the live experience. Events range from intimate leadership meetings to large-scale conferences and rallies.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing and creative aspects of diverse events, including conferences, webinars, retreats, galas, and community engagement initiatives.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure events effectively convey organizational messaging, storytelling, and overall experience.
- Manage event budgets, schedules, and resources to produce high-quality environmental experiences, stage designs, and activations.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success, identify improvements, and apply learnings to future events.
- Travel for site visits and on-location event planning to ensure seamless execution.
- Develop event messaging and positioning in collaboration with colleagues, translating strategic objectives into compelling marketing, branding, and on-site experiences.
Video Production:
- Lead the production, direction, and execution of video content for events, promotional campaigns, fundraising efforts, and organizational initiatives.
- Partner with creative teams to conceptualize, script, and storyboard engaging video content.
- Oversee the full video production lifecycle, including pre-production planning, budgeting, filming, editing, and post-production.
- Ensure all video content aligns with the organization’s branding, messaging, and storytelling goals.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously elevate video quality and audience engagement.
- Supervise post-production processes, collaborating closely with the in-house video editor to maintain high production standards.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures across all freelancers and production professionals to ensure consistency and excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in event and video production, ideally within a nonprofit or Jewish communal organization.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and other multimedia tools.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing high-impact events.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and a problem-solving mindset.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects and deadlines under pressure.
- Familiarity with Jewish culture and community is a plus.
