Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Technical Editor and Writer or a Technical Editor and Writer. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Missile Defense Systems business group.

Basic Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 or a level 2. Basic qualifications for a Technical Editor and Writer 1 are a Bachelor’s Degree. Basic qualifications for a Technical Editor and Writer 2 are a Master’s Degree.

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution
  • Be majoring in or having majored in English or Technical Writing.
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
  • Experience developing and reviewing process documentation, such as plans, processes, and procedures

Salary Range: $50,600 - $75,800

Salary Range 2: $61,000 - $91,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
