About the role

Working closely with the national marketing team and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, the Marketing Coordinator will have a dynamic and exciting role in a wide variety of marketing and events activities. These activities include content development, campaign coordination, event management, stakeholder engagement and marketing administration. The Marketing Coordinator role also supports activities across marketing functions, including corporate sponsorships, community engagement, sales and executive presentations.

This role is suited to a marketing professional that is looking to grow their existing experience and exposure across marketing functions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Writing and editing engaging content for different stakeholder audience groups, including residents, families, and employees.
  • Creating a variety of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and digital content.
  • Assisting with publishing and distributing content on the website, social media, email campaigns and internal communications.
  • Supporting internal teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Maintaining the established database and ensuring data integrity within Salesforce.
  • Participating in local marketing activities, which may involve occasional interstate travel.
  • Handling marketing administration activities including supplier quotes and invoices, documentation and filing.
  • Coordinating with copy writers, graphic designers, and other external suppliers.
  • Managing and organising events, including liaising with internal teams, coordinating external suppliers, handling logistics and preparing run sheets.
  • Assisting in gathering and analysing market trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to help inform marketing strategies.
  • Supporting the execution and tracking of marketing campaigns, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Assisting in tracking and reporting on the performance of marketing activities and campaigns using analytics tools and providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Supporting the monitoring of brand perception and ensuring all marketing materials align with the company and village’s tone and style.
  • Supporting cross-functional projects and adapting to evolving priorities as needed to help meet organisational goals.
  • Other marketing activities as needed.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing or a related degree.
  • 3+ years marketing experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for developing good relationships and fostering collaboration.
  • Demonstrated experience in event organisation, coordination and management.
  • Demonstrated experience in content writing across different mediums.
  • Experience in photography and video production would be beneficial.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic Adobe Creative suite experience (InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Proven ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, work under time pressures, and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
