Your Role:

As a CAD Designer, you will:
  • Create detailed models and drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Develop approval, fabrication, engineering, and installation schematics for both customers and manufacturing teams.
  • Update and maintain existing drawings while adhering to project specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and peers to resolve challenges during execution.
  • Interpret and clarify mechanical designs for fabrication teams and jobsite assembly crews.
  • Conduct mathematical calculations to ensure precision in designs and specifications.
  • Continuously enhance design tools, processes, and workflows.
  • Support the engineering team in creating new products and design solutions.
What You Bring:
  • Education: Associate degree or technical certification in drafting or mechanical design, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in a design and manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise: Mastery of AutoCAD and SolidWorks with a proven track record of completing design projects successfully.
  • Skills:
  • Strong ability to interpret and visualize mechanical drawings and designs.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in intermediate mathematical calculations.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
