Job Title: Retail Marketing Coordinator

Department: Pocari Sweat

Reports To: VP of Marketing / VP of Sales

Overview: Join our dynamic team as a Retail Marketing Coordinator for Pocari Sweat, where you will play a vital role in enhancing consumer engagement and driving sales growth through effective in-store marketing strategies. You will work collaboratively across teams including Sales, Brand Marketing, and Supply Chain, as well as engage with external brokers to create and implement retail marketing initiatives that connect with our target audience and boost conversion at the point of purchase. We seek an energetic and outgoing individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate with diverse groups, and a knack for multi-tasking.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and execute shopper marketing plans that align with brand goals and sales objectives.
  2. Facilitate trade shows, demos, and roadshows, ensuring effective coordination with on-site staff and sales teams.
  3. Partner with brand marketing teams to transform brand strategies into impactful in-store activation plans.
  4. Collaborate with brokers to propose and implement merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and sales.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, retail managers, and buyers to secure marketing opportunities.
  6. Conduct regular store visits to assess product displays, inventory levels, and compliance with merchandising standards.
  7. Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret consumer insights, market trends, and sales data for identifying engagement opportunities.
  8. Work hand-in-hand with broker representatives and retail partners to negotiate and roll out joint marketing programs.
  9. Create eye-catching shopper marketing materials, including point-of-sale displays and digital content.
  10. Oversee the complete execution process of shopper marketing campaigns, including budget management, timelines, and vendor relationships.
  11. Measure and evaluate the success of shopper marketing initiatives, providing insights and reports to internal stakeholders.
  12. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously refine strategies and tactics.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in shopper marketing, retail marketing, or similar roles in the food and beverage sector.
  3. Strong understanding of consumer behavior, retail dynamics, and shopper insights.
  4. Proven success in developing and executing shopper marketing programs that yield significant sales results.
  5. Excellent project management capabilities, adept at handling multiple priorities in a fast-pacing environment.
  6. Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design.
  7. Strong analytical prowess, skilled in interpreting sales data and market research; detail-oriented and organized.
  8. Self-motivated, with proactive problem-solving abilities in a dynamic setting.
  9. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
  10. Passionate about the food and beverage industry and dedicated to delivering outstanding service and outcomes.
  11. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and marketing analytics tools preferred.
  12. Willingness to travel 50-75% for customer meetings and retail visits.
