Performance Creative Strategist

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop, execute, and optimize creative strategies for performance marketing campaigns across channels including social, search, display, email and emerging platforms.
  2. Drive creative briefs and feedback loops with external agencies and internal teams to ensure clarity, quality, and timeliness of deliverables.
  3. Partner with internal and external teams on creative matrix and content production calendar.
  4. Manage and oversee A/B and multivariate testing for creative concepts, formats, and messaging to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  5. Partner with the internal and external creative, content and influencer teams to produce high-impact assets that align with Rodan and Fields’ brand voice and resonate with target audiences.
  6. Stay informed on industry trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive creative strategies to ensure Rodan and Fields remains a leader in innovative marketing practices.
  7. Analyze creative performance metrics and use insights to guide creative iteration and future strategy.
  8. Work closely with merchandising teams, integrated marketing and brand teams to reflect our distinct voice while developing authentic assets to serve the audience, channel & format.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Act as a creative thought leader and advocate within the Growth team, providing strategic insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  2. Identify opportunities to expand Rodan and Fields reach through new platforms, content formats, and audience segments.
  3. Build and maintain a library of high-performing creative assets to streamline production processes.
  4. Work with analytics teams to develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms that clearly illustrate creative impact.

SUCCESS METRICS

  1. Improvement in key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  2. Timely delivery of creative assets that meet or exceed campaign goals.
  3. Successful execution of testing plans with actionable insights that inform future creative strategies.
  4. Growth in audience engagement and acquisition driven by innovative creative approaches.
  5. Alignment of performance creative with Rodan and Fields’ overall brand identity and marketing objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 3–5 years of experience in performance marketing, creative strategy, or a related role, ideally within a digital-first or e-commerce company or agency.
  2. Proven ability to translate data and insights into actionable creative strategies.
  3. Strong understanding of paid media platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest), email & SMS platforms and their creative requirements.
  4. Experience collaborating with designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals to produce high-quality assets.
  5. Analytical mindset with a track record of using performance data to inform and optimize creative decisions.
  6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to present creative concepts and performance insights to stakeholders.
