This position is based out of our Corporate Office in Glendale, AZ, and can be hybrid (in AZ) after training.


POSITION SUMMARY

Enhances the quality of life for our members/team members by meeting or exceeding their service expectations. Facilitates the design process within the Marketing Department, effectively managing multiple projects across print and digital platforms with a keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines. Collaborates with the Marketing, Retail Delivery, and product teams to develop engaging marketing collateral and promotional materials tailored to departmental needs. Under the supervision of the Marketing & Communications Manager, creates and refines promotional content under tight timelines, distributing drafts to relevant managers for feedback and final approval. Supports the marketing team by maintaining project management tools, adopting design vendor budgets, and monitoring collateral supplies. Plays a supporting role in design for new branch openings, remodel projects, and special requests, coordinating with printers and vendors to ensure timely production and distribution. Stays informed about emerging trends in design and marketing to enhance the effectiveness of promotional efforts, managing time efficiently to fulfill responsibilities with minimal supervision.


Essential Functions & Additional Responsibilities

75% Graphic Design – Develop and produce creative designs for marketing materials, websites, social media, and other platforms. Collaborate with marketing, retail delivery, and product teams to understand project objectives and target audience. Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create visually appealing graphics and layouts. Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance design quality. Prepare and present design concepts to stakeholders for feedback and approval.

10% Communication with Internal Teams – Present design concepts to internal stakeholders, gather feedback, and make necessary revisions to meet project objectives. Provide progress updates on design projects, keeping internal teams informed of timelines and any potential challenges. Offer guidance on design best practices and resources available to other teams to enhance their visual communications.

10% Inventory and Vendor Coordination – Communicate design specifications and project timelines clearly to vendors to ensure accurate production of materials. Review proofs and samples from vendors to ensure designs are executed correctly and meet established standards. Keep track of print inventories, ensuring sufficient supplies of marketing materials are available for various campaigns and events.

5% Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field obtained through a formal 4-year program at an accredited educational facility preferred or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years of experience in graphic design or a related field. Proven experience with branding, advertising, and digital design projects. Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Familiarity with web design and basic HTML/CSS is preferred.

- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

- Knowledge of current design trends, techniques, and technologies.

- Ability to take constructive feedback and adapt designs accordingly.

- Thorough knowledge and understanding of organization’s Employee Handbook.

- Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.
