Perkins Coie is seeking a qualified, dynamic candidate to take on the Intellectual Property Practice Marketing Coordinator role whose responsibilities include coordinating events and sponsorships, assembling awards submissions, overseeing IP podcasts and other mediums, updating marketing materials, maintaining databases and mailing lists, as well as other activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS These essential functions are primary job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation. Provide support in the development, planning, and execution of practice events, sponsorships, and webinar activities in collaboration with the Intellectual Property Marketing Team. Coordinate the development and publication of IP podcasts and other mediums. Gather information and assist in compiling practice pitches and presentations under the direction of the Intellectual Property Marketing Team. Coordinate responses to practice rankings and submissions under the direction of the Intellectual Property Marketing Team. Maintain and update library of collateral materials and marketing information for the practice groups, including assisting in the updating and maintenance of attorney biographies and practice pages on the website in coordination with the Intellectual Property Marketing Team. Maintain and update library of external client presentations for the practice group. Draft internal and external communications as needed in collaboration with the Intellectual Property Marketing Team. Track marketing opportunities, sponsorships, and practice clients/prospects in Salesforce. Update and maintain experience entries and lists within Foundation. Collaborate with the broader marketing team to execute on identified initiatives. Handle day-to-day requests and support general ongoing efforts of the Intellectual Property Marketing Team. Perform other duties, as assigned. SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent writing and editorial skills Intellectual curiosity to develop subject matter expertise in assigned practice areas Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to interact collaboratively with all levels of personnel diplomatically Ability to anticipate potential issues and escalate them as needed Identify opportunities and take initiative to drive new ideas Responsive and understands the importance of delivering exceptional client service Strong abilities in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Experience with various social media platforms, including LinkedIn SPECIFIC SKILLS PREFERRED Prior experience using Salesforce and Foundation or other proposal and experience software. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in legal or professional services preferred. A general understanding of law is valuable, and project management and event planning experience is beneficial.
