This pivotal role will drive strategic growth by integrating sales excellence with forward-thinking marketing initiatives. The VP of Sales and Marketing will spearhead efforts to expand market share, enhance brand visibility, and optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve annual sales targets across all business segments. Team Management: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a results-oriented and collaborative culture. Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including geographic expansion, partnerships, and acquisitions. Client Engagement: Cultivate relationships with key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Performance Metrics: Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance using KPIs and data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize results. Marketing Strategy and Execution
Brand Strategy: Define and elevate the company’s brand identity, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and resonates with target audiences. Market Research: Oversee market research initiatives to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes. Use insights to inform sales and marketing strategies. Digital Marketing Leadership: Leverage digital tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing, to build a strong online presence and drive traffic to the company’s website. Content Development: Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content, including brochures, case studies, blogs, podcasts, and videos, tailored to different customer segments. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful project execution. Collaborate with finance to develop and manage the sales and marketing budget effectively. Data-Driven Decision Making
Utilize analytics and reporting tools to track campaign effectiveness and ROI, adjusting strategies based on performance data. Drive CRM adoption and optimization, ensuring the sales team effectively manages leads, opportunities, and customer data. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience as a VP of Sales and Marketing, preferably in a related industry (construction, energy efficiency, glass/window manufacturing). Leadership: Proven experience in building and leading high-performing teams across sales and marketing functions. Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to create and implement long-term strategies that deliver measurable growth. Digital Expertise: Proficient in leveraging digital marketing tools and strategies, including CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics software. Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Results-Oriented: Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving impactful marketing initiatives. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with energy efficiency, sustainability trends, and the regulatory environment of construction is a plus.
