The Director of Professional Marketing will serve as a key marketing leader on the amika brand, helping drive the development + execution of an integrated professional marketing strategy, with a focus on a seamless, integrated customer journey across all stylist, salon owner, + distributor touchpoints that builds awareness, engagement, acquisition, loyalty + long-term fanatical brand love. A successful candidate should be passionate about the stylist as well as extremely collaborative, proactive, and analytical/data-driven with both a brand development + operational 360 planning mindset. In close partnership with Brand Management, Consumer Engagement, Pro Education + Field Sales, + Creative, they will champion the needs of the professional, serve as a critical thought-leader, + ensure consideration of the stylist perspective across brand storytelling, campaign assets, social evergreen content, + salon support tools, flawlessly connecting the dots between brand strategy, channel objectives, + GTM execution. This is a global, extremely cross-functional role with an emphasis on North America and budget ownership. salary:

Lead + mentor two direct reports across salon marketing/loyalty + events verticals and provide continuous coaching + performance feedback to fully develop team to reach their true potential. Responsible for being a key driver of salon customer growth as well as stylist engagement, loyalty, + satisfaction by setting goals, defining KPIs/metrics, constantly evolving team capabilities, + influencing key cross-functional teams to ensure that they are met. Work closely with the SVP of Global Professional sales and education in the development of key promotional and go to market ideas to drive the professional business in North America Lead development + maintenance of pro-relevant annual marketing calendar in partnership with Education to ensure 360 consistency with global brand storytelling + consumer engagement activations. Salon Growth, Engagement & Loyalty:

Support strategy and execution of salon customer journey to trial, onboard, retain, build loyalty, and increase lifetime value while improving customer perception + satisfaction Own the global salon merchandising strategy, incorporating key feedback from distributors and field, and partnering with trade marketing + creative for consistent execution Lead all development of in-salon collateral, sales tools, presenter kits, + distributor toolkits in partnership with Brand, Education, + Creative teams. Oversee all aspects related to salon loyalty program including vision, strategy, end-to-end communication plan, + salon operational support Drive salon ambassador program to deepen relationships with key personal within network salons (and Flagship Salons as needed). Professional Stylist Insights, Brand Storytelling, Content

Develop a deep understanding of the salon customer (participating in primary research, conducting data analysis, and reading/listening to customer feedback) to effectively serve as the voice of the stylist customer during product development, messaging, and campaign development. Partner closely with Consumer Engagement/Integrated Marketing team to align on paid + earned investment strategy to continue to drive the salon funnel from awareness to acquisition to loyalty, as well as Trade Marketing to reinforce consistency. Serve as the lead voice of the stylist + salon for all campaign + evergreen GTM toolkits by overseeing the development of creative tactical briefs that reflect comprehensive professional marketing team needs as well as championing best practice content creation + messaging based on stylist needs + industry best practices. Oversee pro marketing website including site updates, content strategy, + brand relevant storytelling in close partnership with Brand + Creative teams. Drive professional stylist-focused video content briefs + projects in close partnership with Education + Brand teams, including but not limited to evergreen education videos, artistry look book, or event support needs. Community Engagement & Events

Partner closely with Consumer Engagement + Education teams to support development + planning of compelling content strategy with current stylist POV for professional communities including influencers and social channels/groups Lead strategy + planning for all professional brand, distributor, regional, + tradeshows, including annual calendar, pre-promotional plan, + on-site build/execution in close partnership with Education, Creative, Social, + Production teams. Reporting & Analysis:

Regular reporting & analysis on effectiveness, functionality of strategies & programs including KPIs and how metrics affect each other Stay informed on professional industry trends, competitive landscapes and new technologies affecting salons and distribution platforms Develop & manage professional marketing budgets individually and in conjunction with sales, marketing, education, and field must haves:

Minimum 8-10+ years of experience at a professional salon haircare brand

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.
