24 Seven is partnering with a top global sportswear client to help them find a Lead Designer for Accessories Apparel Graphic Design for this hybrid position in Portland, OR. This is a 5 month contract with potential to extend working 4 days a week onsite. While on contract, you'd be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more.


Ideal Candidate: will have a bachelor's degree in a related field such as graphic design as well as 5+ years’ experience within apparel graphic design. Also someone who is proficient in Adobe CC and highly skilled in sketching, illustration, print and pattern, color theory and layout


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Were looking for a Lead Designer for Accessories Apparel Graphic Design to combine their experience, problem solving abilities, and creativity to help create the future of the company's accessories - Bags, Socks, Headwear, and Equipment, as well as their Global Product Licensing Portfolio.


This role requires passion and creativity, along with versatility and focus to see designs through the product creation process. This designer is a dedicated team player that knows how to collaborate, receive feedback, and manage multiple projects at any given time. This designer can also translate complex insights into authentic narratives and create compelling solutions that will help define the future of the brand's accessories.


WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Concepting, sketching, and presenting groundbreaking innovative design. You will collaborate across functional teams to deliver your ideas to physical products. This could include working with your development and business partners, along with Athletes, down to the smallest details from choosing trims and print applications to creating presentations to be communicated to broader audiences both internally and externally.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

• Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, 5 years or more of graphic design experience at agency or in-house setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training

• Proficient in sketching, illustration, print and pattern, color theory and layout

• Proficient in graphic applications, development, PR and schematic tools and the apparel product creation processes

• Proficient in Adobe CC and comfortable working within new digital spaces

• Passion and understanding of current and emerging design trends and visual culture

• Ability to translate insights into authentic narratives and visual storytelling

• Proficient understanding of typography design and trends

• Strong visual and verbal communication skills, able to effectively present design intent to internal and external audiences

• Highlight and elevate diverse points of view while fostering an environment of inclusivity

• Experience working and communicating with internal and external partners to ensure the accuracy of intent and graphic execution across a wide range of product types

• Passion for design, strategic thinking, and curiosity
