We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Marketing to direct and oversee our Marketing department. You will design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals. As part of our executive team, you will have a significant impact on our company's strategic direction, particularly in the areas of brand development, lead generation, and customer retention.
Our ideal candidate has a solid Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing techniques. Our VP of Marketing will report directly to the CEO and will oversee internal Marketing teams. To be successful in this role, you should be highly professional, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to drive marketing efforts that generate company revenue.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness.
2. Set current and long-term goals for internal teams.
3. Design and review the Marketing department’s budget.
4. Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies.
5. Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary.
6. Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly.
7. Conduct a competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
8. Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction.
9. Oversee our social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
10. Develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organization.
11. Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
2. 5+ years of executive marketing experience, with a minimum of three years in a senior leadership position.
3. Proven experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
4. Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices.
5. Experience with SEO/SEM, CRM software, and digital marketing.
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate performance through effective coaching, influencing, and relationship-building.
7. Strong understanding of effective PR and Marketing Communications.
8. An ability to lead and inspire marketing teams.
9. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
10. Strong analytical skills, business savvy and the ability to multitask are all essential.
11. Up-to-date with the latest trends and marketing best practices.
12. Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets.
13. Experience in the Accounting and Finance industry is a plus.
