Our client is seeking a passionate and innovative Visual Designer to join their dynamic team. This role is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week in-office at our client's location. The working hours are 9-5 EST.

As a Visual Designer, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and communicating beautiful, usable, and effective interface designs for mobile, web, and device interfaces. You will work collaboratively with developers, researchers, and experience architects to design and test designs that will be shared across customer and employee-facing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of an Agile Product Team to own and account for successful product experience design and positioning

  • Deliver functional, user-focused, competitive, and intuitive user experiences

  • Translate end-user requirements into customer journeys and holistic product experiences

  • Use contemporary tools, including Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, to design new interaction modules, page layouts, style guides, images, icons, animations, and other visual elements

  • Present and communicate designs and design goals to teammates, partners, and leadership

  • Participate as an observer in user interviews and usability test sessions

  • Work within a cross-functional team in an Agile/SCRUM development cycle to deliver industry-leading products

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline such as Visual Design, UX Design, Web Design, Service Design, Experience Architecture, or Information Architecture preferred

  • 3-5 years of related work experience, such as UX or digital industry, with at least one year of team leadership experience

  • Solid knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices, interactive design principles, information architecture, experience architecture, visual systems, and visual design

  • Familiarity with common design and prototyping software, such as Figma Sketch, InVision, Abstract, or related software

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to problem-solve and work independently
