Part-time Art Studio Model

Hourly Rate: $18.00

This position is a temporary, part-time, up to 19-hour, on-campus appointment based in Champaign, Illinois.

The Studio Model is a position requiring daytime or evening hours dependent on art course schedules. Class sessions last 2 hours and 45 minutes. Each model is expected to work 3 to 4 times per month.

Models must be able to pose nude for a college-level drawing class. Students will be studying the anatomy and structure of the human body. The class is held in a private studio classroom with approximately 20 enrolled students. All body types are welcome.

Essential Job Functions:

• Pose nude for art studio classes.
• Hold specific poses, at the direction of the course instructor, for a period of up to twenty (20) minutes without moving.
• Perform multiple poses over time for a class period of up to three (3) hours. Poses may include standing, seating, or reclining positions.
• Maintain physical composure and professional demeanor for the entirety of the course.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be comfortable performing as a live unclothed model, often sitting for up to three (3) hours at a time.
