We seek a full-time Audio Visual Operations Supervisor to work at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO.

The compensation for this Audio Visual Operations Supervisor Role is $25-27/hr, depending on experience.

Job Summary

The Floor Supervisor will assist and direct assigned Hotel Audiovisual Technicians in day-to-day operations, ensuring that all levels of service and standards of operations are met and exceeded in the perception of our clients and customers.

Summary of essential functions for the Audio Visual Operations Supervisor

  • Verify that the AV equipment needed is in our inventory before the event.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all equipment, devices, and systems.
  • Ensure all equipment is fully operational, and repair/clean when necessary.
  • Demonstrated advanced technical knowledge of programming, setup, testing, and troubleshooting of AV equipment and software.
  • Label broken equipment.
  • Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order/Flow Sheets.
  • Communicate additions or deletions to flowsheets.
  • Break down, remove, and secure equipment.
  • Perform daily floor management including directing the workflow of technicians and assisting management with labor needs and scheduling.
  • Understand acoustics and sound amplifications to support temporary and permanent equipment solutions for events and daily operations.
  • Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage/operation of AV equipment.
  • Up-sell AV services.
  • Monitor equipment operation.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, motivating, and coaching employees; and serve as role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Other tasks as requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of audio-visual experience is required.
  • Knowledge of technical theory.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading workflow and team members. Must have great organizational skills with a focus on deadlines and prioritization.
