WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Provide daily reporting to the Project Management team
- Install a wide variety of technology into clients' existing and new build project sites
- Cable Management
- Plan layout and install all 1st fix hardware, including bracketry and ceiling speaker hardware, ensuring required general contract requirements are in place
- Be knowledgeable of low voltage electrical concepts
- Possess basic carpentry and/or installation skills
- Proficient use and safety with power tools
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems
- Travel as needed to other sites for project support and/or installations.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Some experience with any of the following: Crestron/Extron/QSYS/Cisco
- Must have an understanding of Signal Flow
- Knowledge of how to build AV racks to required AVIXA standards ensuring required airflow and layouts.
- Knowledge of all cabling used in the AV industry and experience terminating associated connectors
- Must be agile and exhibit a strong sense of urgency
- Must be responsive, efficient, have excellent customer interaction skills, and exhibit a high level of professionalism
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment under immense pressure, requiring independent and confident thinking, self-motivation, and determination
- Must be engaged in the process of technical development
- Be eligible, willing, and able to work and travel globally when required
- Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must have critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Be flexible and adaptable to change and hours of work to meet the needs of the customer
- Be a motivated team player
- Must have a valid driver’s license
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- 1-3 years’ experience in the AV/VC industry
- Knowledge of Signal flow
- Some experience with AV Installation and any: Cisco/Extron/Crestron/QSYS
- AVIXA CTS/CTS-I Certification is desired
- OSHA 10/30/SST Certificate is highly desired
Pay Range: $60,000 — $80,000 USD
