WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Provide daily reporting to the Project Management team
  • Install a wide variety of technology into clients' existing and new build project sites
  • Cable Management
  • Plan layout and install all 1st fix hardware, including bracketry and ceiling speaker hardware, ensuring required general contract requirements are in place
  • Be knowledgeable of low voltage electrical concepts
  • Possess basic carpentry and/or installation skills
  • Proficient use and safety with power tools
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems
  • Travel as needed to other sites for project support and/or installations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Some experience with any of the following: Crestron/Extron/QSYS/Cisco
  • Must have an understanding of Signal Flow
  • Knowledge of how to build AV racks to required AVIXA standards ensuring required airflow and layouts.
  • Knowledge of all cabling used in the AV industry and experience terminating associated connectors
  • Must be agile and exhibit a strong sense of urgency
  • Must be responsive, efficient, have excellent customer interaction skills, and exhibit a high level of professionalism
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment under immense pressure, requiring independent and confident thinking, self-motivation, and determination
  • Must be engaged in the process of technical development
  • Be eligible, willing, and able to work and travel globally when required
  • Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change and hours of work to meet the needs of the customer
  • Be a motivated team player
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in the AV/VC industry
  • Knowledge of Signal flow
  • Some experience with AV Installation and any: Cisco/Extron/Crestron/QSYS
  • AVIXA CTS/CTS-I Certification is desired
  • OSHA 10/30/SST Certificate is highly desired

Pay Range: $60,000 — $80,000 USD
