Ready to kick-start your content marketing career?

Working closely with members across the Content department, you’ll have the opportunity to research, draft, edit and finalize an array of content for some of the world’s most dynamic B2B brands. You will learn the ins and outs of creating results-focused content, and you will gain a deeper understanding of how important creative content can be.

Our workplace is fun, but we're serious about generating stellar results for our clients. Collaborative by design, our workflow requires team members to pitch in and work together to get the job done.

You’ll work with and learn from a full team of writers and editors, along with colleagues like search analysts, media relations specialists, social media managers, and account leads across the agency. You’ll also gain experience working and collaborating with experienced designers and creative directors while honing your skills and understanding of the B2B digital marketing space.

Through this internship, you’ll have the chance to support content creation, diversify your portfolio, and strengthen your overall writing experience.

Project Types

1. Content: Develop recurring blog posts and contributed articles for a range of Walker Sands clients. Learn editorial best practices and gain industry expertise from your colleagues in the Content department while sitting in on thought leadership calls, creating content outlines and supporting internal team initiatives through our Content Incubator group.
2. SEO + Web: You will be routinely involved in the development, creation and refinement of web-optimized content that lives on our clients’ websites. You will learn and use SEO best practices to help contribute to projects that may include blog posts, landing page copy, microsite copy, and emails.

Requirements

• Ability to work a 40-hour per week schedule.
• Candidates for the internship must be eligible for full-time employment at the conclusion of their internship.
• Passionate about writing and strengthening your skills, including knowledge of grammar rules and AP Style.
• Eagerness to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and function independently.
• Positive attitude in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and stay organized while managing multiple deadlines and tasks.
• Willingness to embrace new technology and tools as an integral part of the content creation/refinement process.
• Strong creative skills and ability to implement feedback.
• Experience with generative AI and Trello are a plus.

Internship Details

• This is a 12-week paid, 40-hour per week internship that will begin on May 27, 2025.
• Candidates for the internship must be eligible for full-time employment at the conclusion of their internship.
• All internship candidate finalists must complete a writing test.

Compensation & Benefits:

  Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour
