  4. Liaising with engineering and product leads to keep users’ interests at the core of projects.
  5. Making product feature improvements based on your analysis of the competitive landscape and user needs.
  6. Effectively communicating ongoing product changes and escalating issues with the appropriate members of the product team.
  7. Collecting, analysing, and interpreting search data.
  8. Building lists of keywords, including common misspellings and synonyms, to trigger specialised content.
  9. Using taxonomy skills to create category structures and classify content.
  10. Performing Quality Assurance tasks to ensure our products meet functional, linguistic, policy and relevance requirements in European markets.
  11. Using agile project management methods to manage your work and contribute to setting direction for your team.
  12. Using GenAI to extend and enhance the impact of human work.

You Must Have

  1. Knowledge of the language, culture, everyday life, and current events in a second country from this list: France, Germany, Canada, or a Spanish-language country.
  2. A Bachelor’s degree. No specific subject is required, but candidates have often studied Linguistics, Journalism, Computer Science, Library & Information Science, Information Management, or other related subjects.
  3. One or more years of related work experience.
  4. Fluency in English.
  5. A strong knowledge of the language, culture, everyday life, and current events in either France or Germany.
  6. Technical aptitude — experience with LLMs, Python, HTML, and Javascript are all a plus.
  7. Attention to detail, flexibility, organisational skills, and an abundance of common sense.
  8. Strong communication, writing, and decision-making skills.
  9. Experience working as part of a team to meet objectives.
  10. The ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data.
  11. A fascination with the Internet and online culture — you’ll be spending all day with it!
  12. A flexible schedule: this role will require some work on alternate weekends.
