POSITION SUMMARY

The Design Analyst will contribute on multiple affordable multi-family projects at a time by acting as the primary point of contact for design-related matters, and incorporating feedback and revisions from stakeholders that align with Elmington's standards and overall vision.

SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in multi-family residential, commercial, or a related field.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Autodesk, PlanGrid, Lumion, and Revit as needed.
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, shows responsibility, and takes pride in their work.
  • Adaptable and collaborative with diverse in-house teams of developers, builders, designers, and marketing.
  • Strong understanding of brand-driven design principles, with the ability to creatively apply brand guidelines to unique residential spaces.
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of strategic planning and management to align design initiatives with broader business goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure that design solutions are creative and efficient, aligned with client requirements and vision, budget constraints, and project timelines.
  • Incorporate feedback and/or revisions from stakeholders for conceptual site plans and schematic drawings.
  • Review and approve design deliverables from consultants, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of architectural design intent throughout remainder of plan development.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Elmington CEO regarding design-related matters.
  • Create and present project updates, progress reports, and design proposals to management and stakeholders.

  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires travel to ensure projects and timelines are aligned.
