This position requires availability from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, full-time 40 hours per week in the North Kansas City office.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
• Three or more years of experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects.
  • Illustrator and Photoshop skills should be proficient. Fast and efficient are a must.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to continue building a skill set with education and training.
• Ability to work with short deadlines and quick turnaround times.
• Willingness to ask questions when you do not understand a task or objective is a must.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with the marketing team on a wide range of materials that may include presentations, packaging, label creation, signage, and marketing materials.
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
• Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
• Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in professional graphic design.
• Associates Degree and/or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in graphic design, art, or related discipline.
• Experience working in CBD, THC, or wellness-related fields is a plus.
• Experience creating packaging and labels is also a plus.
• Ability to juggle concurrent projects with tight deadlines.
