Empire Photography is looking for a driven and experienced Photography Manager/Supervisor to lead our team in Bourbonnais, IL! Key Responsibilities:

Photographer Management & Development:

• Lead Photo Day events on a daily basis.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard photographers to meet operational needs.
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to uphold quality and efficiency.
• Conduct routine performance reviews and offer constructive coaching.

Equipment & Inventory Management:

• Maintain organized inventory, including cameras, computers, backgrounds, and props.
• Ensure photographers have the necessary equipment for Picture Day success.
• Conduct routine performance reviews and offer constructive coaching.

Scheduling & Operations:

• Work closely with the Director of Photography and Account Managers to ensure smooth operations.
• Create and manage photographer schedules, aligning photographer skills with assignments.
• Oversee labor management, including approving time records and ensuring compliance.
• Support photography operations to align with company policies and best practices.

Skills & Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in photography, team leadership, or operations management (school photography experience a plus).
• Proven ability to train, coach, and develop a team.
• Strong knowledge of photography equipment and picture day logistics.
• Exceptional organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel for on-site shoots (including occasional overnight stays).
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance.
