The eCommerce Web Designer manages requests and administers content of the iPROMOTEu Company Stores and eCommerce sites on behalf of our franchise and sales affiliate community (distributors). This position will support the product requirements and site management as it relates to the development, launch, and day-to-day eCommerce operations.

Our goal is to build brand awareness, increase engagement, and gain new business by understanding the needs of our external and internal stakeholders. You will passionately advocate for our distributor members, scope and define enhancements, and lead the execution of new user experience offerings that support and grow iPROMOTEu’s distributor membership and platform usage. Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the desire to learn new technology, are a must.


Responsibilities:
Store and Website Design and Maintenance

  • Collaborate with distributor members and customers to understand their goals and objectives that lead to effective sites through the design, development, and delivery of optimal user experiences and eCommerce technology solutions
    • including but not limited to:
      • Landing pages
      • Content updates
      • Microsites
      • Template updates
      • New templates
  • Lead all UX design as it relates to monthly campaign management and custom projects
  • Development of technology/design solutions into projects and campaigns
  • Research product images and descriptions for sites
  • Create virtual images for products for use on sites
  • Add content to e-commerce sites, including virtual images, descriptions, and price
  • Create eye-catching site and store designs
  • Assist with other special projects not limited to the eCommerce team
  • Provide reporting as needed to internal teams, as well as appropriate customers
Advanced Design Execution
  • Advanced CSS or HTML design skills to further customize designs and images on sites and stores as needed
  • Execute campaigns via email marketing and CRM platforms.
  • Stay informed of web, social, and content strategies
Integration Support
  • Basic understanding of the transactional order to cash cycle
  • Comprehensive understanding of the transactional platforms to accurately configure and manage e-commerce orders and payments
  • Basic understanding of API technologies to manage and assist development teams with integration from eCommerce to transactional platforms
Quality Assurance
  • Responsible for quality of work in terms of accuracy and content, minimizing rework
  • Manage and review product presentation on sites to ensure correct categorization, images, copy, pricing, and promotional offers are accurate and meet internal and external requirements
  • Track time spent on stores and sites
Customer & End-User Technology Support (L1-L2)
  • Act as a liaison to work with or resolve customer or product situations ensuring excellent customer service
  • Support the online shopping experience with a focus on the day-to-day maintenance of e-commerce platforms
Education/Experience:
  • 2-year degree or 2-5 years experience in a related field, preferred
  • 2-4 years of web or graphic design, preferred
  • Fluency in principles of user-centered design methods, information architecture, usability, and interface and responsive design
  • Experience with Photoshop and Microsoft Office products
