Amazon Customer Service is using generative AI to reinvent and reimagine our customer experiences. We are looking for a UX Designer who can drive a customer-centered UX design process with the curiosity and creativity needed to revolutionize customer service.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop innovative customer experiences as part of a team that includes AI scientists, developers, UX researchers, and product managers, all working together to translate complex AI and automation concepts into intuitive, easy-to-use experiences.
- Drive innovation by leveraging your deep experience with UX design best practices through every step of the product development process.
- Confidently engage with stakeholders while presenting the team’s work and discussing their feedback.
- Contribute to a healthy, creative, problem-solving culture while helping those around you raise the bar for our customers.
A Day in the Life
A day in the life of a UX Designer in Amazon Customer Service is fast-paced and highly collaborative. You will participate in meetings to review and provide feedback on detailed documentation, and lead sessions where you share customer insights, challenges, and the UX solutions you and your team have developed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of design experience
- 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Have an available online portfolio
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
- Experience in delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
