As a Clix Social Media Strategist, youll harness your creative energy and develop unique social media initiatives that support the growth of our clients businesses. At Clix, we manage a wide variety of both paid and organic social campaigns that span across many industries. No two campaigns are identical, so our social team is regularly challenged to think about new, creative strategies that apply to each client and their goals. Whether a client wants to increase engagement, grow brand awareness, or drive more leads, our social team helps guide them on which platforms, strategies (paid or organic), and content approaches will drive the most success.


As a Social Media Strategist, you will work directly with clients to understand their goals, recommend platforms and their potential impact, supply content and opinions, and dive into platform analytics to lead informed decision-making. Lastly, you will never work alone and will regularly collaborate with other teams to elevate account-level strategy, execution, and analysis!

Responsibilities:

  • Understand prospective client and existing client goals
  • Manage and execute paid and organic social media campaigns with an emphasis on key performance indicators and ongoing client education
  • Develop personas for optimal audience clarification and targeting
  • Develop social media marketing plans with supporting resources (e.g. content calendars) that connect to account-level goals
  • Design and develop content for both paid and organic social media campaigns
  • Understand target performance indicators and proactively provide reporting and insights to account management and clients within the context of account-level goals
  • Maintain knowledge of existing (Facebook/Instagram) and emerging social media platforms (TikTok) and their business applications
  • Develop social media case studies and collaborate on recommended opportunities with internal terms
  • Other relevant tasks as needed


Ideal Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of professional social media experience with a successful track record developing and deploying paid and organic social media marketing plans across various industries
  • Advanced understanding of paid social media advertising methodologies, especially within Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms
  • Strong knowledge of social media management tools
  • Experience working directly with clients speaking to strategy, ideation of new ideas, and presentation of reporting & results
  • Experience developing a content strategy, designing and writing content, with an emphasis on creative video editing as social media platforms are evolving to prioritize video content
  • Familiarity with basic SEO and inbound marketing principles, with experience of using Google Analytics to support the reporting of social media campaigns
