Job Description
Summary: Responsible for managing accurate, timely, and competitive responses for Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI) and maintaining content within the database on a regular basis. The Proposal Library Administrator is also responsible for Ombud training of MedImpact designated SMEs, proposal department new hires, and any other stakeholder who needs access to Ombud.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications preferred; and more than three plus (3+) years job related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (1+ year) Healthcare industry experience or PBM experience required. Experience in a high-volume proposal department environment required.
Computer Skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Office / Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required. Adobe a plus.

Job Description
Summary: Responsible for managing accurate, timely, and competitive responses for Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI) and maintaining content within the database on a regular basis. The Proposal Library Administrator is also responsible for Ombud training of MedImpact designated SMEs, proposal department new hires, and any other stakeholder who needs access to Ombud.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Writes internal instructions and technical manuals for effective use of content and Ombud for all levels of Ombud users.
- Works with database team to develop SME communications to continuously drive better collaboration and response times to SME requests.
- Works with Manager, Proposal Database to develop and maintain reporting of database growth, reusability, and improved proposal efficiency.
- Conducts training as needed, based on Ombud current capabilities, upgrades, and MedImpact-specific custom programing with MedImpact stakeholders.
- Trains new MedImpact proposal consultants and other new MedImpact employees and SMEs to work and respond within Ombud and communicate successfully through the Ombud software.
- Acts as an internal SME to the proposal team for delegated reference content.
- Meets all internal deadlines for database processes to ensure that assigned content is complete and accurate.
- Contributes to the growth and structure of library through assigned reference folders with SME interviews, rewrites, content development, and library input and updates.
- Reviews assigned reference folder nominations from proposal consultants for content updates and rewrites.
- Builds and maintains a strong network of SMEs across the organization to assist in developing proposal-ready content.
- Works with proposal team to complete proposals during high volume or high-profile bids
- Works with graphics team within marketing to create new figures or graphics to improve content.
- Assists with projects or assignments by Director, Proposal Services, Manager, Proposal Services, or other department leadership as needed and tracked to completion.
- Develops deep understanding of assigned content reference folders and business topic areas.
- Utilizes strong critical thinking skills to navigate challenges and uncertainty independently.
- Supports the development and implementation of strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the content development process.
- Analyzes proposal and content performance to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities.
- Supports the development and implementation of strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the content development process.
- Develops, maintains, and provides training about company style and format templates and guidelines in Ombud and Microsoft Word aligned with MedImpact brand guidelines.
- Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned, and directed.
