What You'll Do:
- Tutors students in assigned subject area(s), working one-on-one or in small groups
- Provides personalized instruction using a variety of methods to meet the needs of different learners
- Reinforces concepts presented in school, helping students to grasp difficult concepts, work through problems and improve overall academic performance
- Helps students develop effective study skills
- Maintains a positive and supportive learning environment
- Tracks student progress and provides feedback to program staff
- Makes suggestions for additional resources or materials to enhance learning
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma/GED - Required
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
- One (1) years of experience providing instructional support to students
- Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
- Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
