Medical practice is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Physician Liaison & Outreach Coordinator to drive patient acquisition and growth across our key service areas: Primary Care, Functional Wellness, Medicare Programs, and Obesity Management.
This role will focus on building relationships with referral sources, conducting targeted outreach, and representing the practice within the community.
Responsibilities:
Patient Acquisition:
Identify and build relationships with key referral sources: This includes:
Medical Practices: Primary care physicians, specialists (endocrinologists, cardiologists, gynecologists, urologists, etc.), physical therapists, chiropractors.
Wellness-Focused Businesses: Spas, wellness centers, yoga studios, fitness centers, health food stores, practitioners of complementary medicine.
Senior Care Facilities: Assisted living facilities, senior living communities, rehabilitation centers, senior centers.
Community Organizations: Community health organizations, local businesses with wellness programs, women's health clinics and organizations.
Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key contacts through regular communication, in-person visits, and participation in relevant events.
Effectively communicate VPMC's value proposition, services, and expertise to potential referral sources and patients.
General Responsibilities:
Track and Analyze Results:
Monitor the effectiveness of outreach efforts and track patient acquisition from different sources.
Collaboration: Work closely with the practice manager to align outreach activities with overall marketing strategies.
Communication: Maintain excellent communication with internal stakeholders (physicians, staff) to ensure smooth patient onboarding and care coordination.
Patient-Centric Approach: Represent practice with a professional and compassionate demeanor, always prioritizing the patient experience.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
1-2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Experience working with seniors and/or individuals seeking weight loss solutions is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
Understanding of the healthcare industry and relevant regulations.
