About the Role
As a Web Project Manager, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of website redesign projects—from ideation and strategy to execution, delivery, and performance analysis. Your role will focus on fostering strong client relationships, managing project details, and ensuring the highest-quality results. Success in this role requires a blend of technical understanding, problem-solving skills, and strong leadership.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a portfolio of clients by understanding their business goals and delivering tailored website redesign solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for web projects, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
- Lead all phases of website redesigns, including strategy, planning, execution, testing, and post-launch support.
- Translate client visions into actionable project scopes, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketers, to deliver exceptional work on time and within scope.
- Monitor and manage risks, addressing potential issues like scope creep, timeline delays, or budget overruns.
- Champion UX/UI principles and accessibility standards to ensure client websites are user-friendly, inclusive, and effective.
- Oversee quality assurance, including browser and device testing, to ensure flawless website performance.
- Analyze performance data post-launch using tools like Google Analytics and heatmaps, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Train clients on CMS platforms post-launch to empower them to manage their websites effectively.
- Document project learnings to refine processes and improve future projects.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years in a related role, with agency experience preferred.
- Proven success managing Shopify and/or WordPress projects (required).
- Experience with Webflow and AI tools is a plus.
- Skilled in creating high-level architecture plans for complex web applications.
- Familiarity with on-page SEO and conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with tools like Google Suite, Asana, Jira, and Trello.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, heatmaps, and website performance metrics.
- Basic understanding of front-end/back-end development and CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of WCAG compliance and accessibility standards.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and information.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
- Analytical mindset with unstructured problem-solving skills.
