They coordinate with other departments, analyze market trends and consumer behavior, and align marketing efforts with the overall company goals.What you will doIn the evolving healthcare environment, Amgen acknowledges the significance of Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and Health Systems within the U.S. healthcare ecosystem. The Senior Marketing Manager for Cardiovascular National Health System Key Accounts will develop and implement Amgen’s Account-Based Marketing strategy and marketing capabilities for Tier 1 IDNs and health systems to support Amgen’s cardiometabolic portfolio. This role will partner to develop and execute above brand/DSE solutions in collaboration with National Key Account Manager (NKAMs) to drive sustained, scalable customer behavior change aligned to Amgen’s branded and unbranded CV goals.  The Account-Based Marketer will engage key national account stakeholders within targeted IDNs & Health Systems, to create and deliver tailored customer messaging & education, co-develop & execute national account plans, and coordinate with field and home office cross-functional teams.This new and influential role will contribute to shaping Amgen’s National Key Account Management (NKAM) strategy and marketing capability, including customer stakeholder mapping and profiling, developing branded and unbranded messaging, and creating targeted population health management and quality improvement education and resources tailored to the needs of IDN/health system customers.The successful candidate will be experienced in leading matrix teams without direct authority. They should possess a comprehensive understanding of the U.S. healthcare landscape, including insights into health system/IDN drivers and business requirements. The candidate should be able to utilize data and insights to identify health system challenges and develop impactful messages and tactics; have experience in formulating and implementing health system marketing strategies and tactics with cross-functional field teams; demonstrate the ability to build relationships and engage health system leaders/stakeholders to develop pilot programs and solutions aligned with Amgen’s CV branded and unbranded goals; and possess strong skills in data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing.Primary Responsibilities:Develop and shape Amgen’s Account-based marketing capability at targeted national accounts to optimize engagement with Tier 1 National Key Accounts and achieve our CV Health Systems unbranded/population health and branded goals (70/30 split)Partner with National Key Account Director to develop and implement a comprehensive, cross-functional National Accounts insights and engagement framework to coordinate internal (Amgen) activities and external (customer facing) activities with account objectives aligned to cardiometabolic portfolio needs in Tier 1 Key AccountsDevelop, pilot, and deploy targeted insight-driven messaging and educational resources tailored to advance Amgen’s health systems CV branded/unbranded goals across the care continuum Routinely engage with leaders and KOLs at Tier 1 accounts to synthesize insights and understand key priorities, identify opportunities, and develop Amgen’s capabilities and thought leadership in population health management across the cardiovascular care continuumLead and manage the National CV Health Systems Key Account-Based approach for targeted accounts, including establishing account strategy, objectives & goals, KPIs, monitoring/communicating success, managing budget, and building stakeholder relationships for Amgen in collaboration with the National Key Account Manager (NKAM)Communicate and coordinate cross-functionally with field, marketing, above brand functions, value & access, medical, and others to ensure alignment, communication, & flawless delivery for all IDN activitiesWork with third-party vendors to facilitate the internal legal, regulatory and medical review of marketing materials via the Materials Approval and Compliance (MAC)Effectively rollout and train the Cardiovascular Key Account Managers and other field teams on programs and resources and provide support to field staff to address questionsDeliver insights related to health system/IDN objectives to key internal team members to help inform strategic decisions and shape Amgen’s long-term CV IDN customer engagement strategyBasic Qualifications:Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing, clinical, and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Healthcare Delivery organization or Marketing/Sales commercial organizationORMaster’s degree and 4 years of marketing, clinical, and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Healthcare Delivery organization or Marketing/Sales commercial organizationORBachelor’s degree and 6 years of marketing, clinical, and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Healthcare Delivery organization or Marketing/Sales commercial organizationORAssociate’s degree and 10 years of marketing, clinical, and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Healthcare Delivery organization or Marketing/Sales commercial organizationORHigh school diploma / GED and 12 years of  marketing, clinical, and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Healthcare Delivery organization or Marketing/Sales commercial organizationPreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree such as MBA, MPH, MHA, or PharmD6+ years established experience engaging U.S. Health System/IDN C- and D-suite system-level stakeholders and KOLs, and demonstrated understanding of market dynamics, core customer business drivers, and health system unmet needs6+ years of experience in a series of commercial roles of increasing scope, scale, and complexity within the bio-pharmaceutical industry Health Systems Marketing experience including branded and unbranded strategy and tactical development, with an emphasis on uncovering novel and motivating customer insights and executing integrated multi-touch point initiatives to drive sustained, scalable customer behavior changeValue and Access experience including generating and communicating Health Care Economic Information (HECI) such as cost impact modelsStrong data/analytics skills and the ability to translate real-world data into actionable insights that resonate with Health System executive leadersEffective communication skills with demonstrated success in leading cross-functional collaborationPossesses strong business acumen, analytics, and critical thinking skillsCore ProficienciesThinks Strategically: Demonstrates ability to analyze and respond to existing and future competitive position by considering market and industry trends, existing and potential new competitors, and strengths and weaknesses as compared to competitorsCommunicates Effectively: Demonstrates people management/influence skills and demonstrates networking capabilities.
