We enable our agencies through standardization of processes and best practices, leveraging our tools and solutions and delivering performance marketing training and education.What You’ll Do:The Vice President, Search is a key thought leader and expert in the Paid and Organic Search space, serving all Publicis Media agencies. We ask that you have a proven ability to showcase strategic thought leadership and development of tactical best practices. You should have an understanding of all major search platform capabilities and be able to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. We need someone who loves to take on obstacles, collaborate across agency teams, and has a strong POV with the ability to identify needs and build solutions.This position will also serve as the internal sales lead for our proprietary solutions.  In this role, you will work with agencies and clients to identify opportunities to scale our solutions, develop sales collateral and move opportunities through the sales process to close.  Performance will be measured against product adoption and meeting revenue targets. This role is unique as it drives best practices, thought leadership, and innovation across all agencies. Rather than working for a single client, our work impacts all clients. The Vice President is able to define our roadmap, team priorities, and lead content that directly influences all clients in the US. Self-starters and people who naturally curious and are comfortable working in grey space are successful in this role.ResponsibilitiesLead Paid Search content development, including POVs, playbooks, training, and educational 101, 201, and 301 content pieces.Drive sales and adoption of our our proprietary products and solutions with senior leaders across Publicis agenciesExperience with the Search space to satisfy business outcomes, including both paid and organic search as well as the shoppable components within traditional search.Curate first-to-market solutions – inclusive of search activation support, collateral development, and testing frameworksIdentify and document FAQs, automating responses to common agency questionsDevelop ad hoc content based on custom requests from agency teams and reactions to relevant marketplace changesBuild relationships with Publicis Media agency executives and media channel leadsManage day-to-day priorities for a team of search activation expertsDevelop roadmaps and build thought leadership collateral for search strategy and activationOwn cross-functional relationships to collaborate on solutions prioritiesLead account planning and coordination with key SMEs across agencies to improve how we serve clients across Publicis MediaIdentify clients that are candidates for priority solutions and help with stewarding clients into best-in-class landing padsOversee assessments and guide agency teams on recommendationsStay informed about industry trends and advise on the use of emerging channels and shoppable ad units based on agency, industry, and client prioritiesQualifications10+ years’ experience in search media, with an emphasis in paid search and Commerce activation (minimum 5 years trading experience)Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communicationsExtensive familiarity and past experience with paid media strategy and activationStrong verbal, visual and written communication skillsHave self-esteem, composure, and polished presentation skills to attend and lead meetingsPassionate about working in a fast-paced a environmentExperience with major platform algorithms, ad products, optimization levers, and roadmaps also pertaining to broader industry developmentsExtensive experience in campaign management and optimization across Google, Bing, SA360, Adobe, Google AnalyticsAdvanced knowledge of 3P measurement capabilities and restrictions in primary partnersDetail-oriented with the ability to coordinate projects across multiple teams and functionsAbility to describe complex concepts in a clear mannerAdvanced content development skills with extensive PowerPoint experienceAccuracy on all projects, with an expectation for high quality of work every timeTeam oriented, approachable and viewed as a mentor to othersExcel fluency in pivot tables, charts, vlookups and basic equations—knowledge of macros and visual basic is a plus.Comfortable working with large datasets, analyzing reporting and identifying trendsAdditional informationOur Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Compensation Range: $146,490 - $210,420 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
