Opportunity In-person or hybrid opportunity for an ambitious aspiring investment professional to get immediately plugged into live deals and portfolio management within a fast-growing investment firm specializing in the media and entertainment industry. Looking for fast learners, independent thinkers and doers, not talkers or delegators!
Key Responsibilities Work closely on sourcing, analyzing, and executing debt and equity investments across the media industry Perform financial analysis and modeling, conduct comprehensive investment due diligence, prepare investment memos, research industry dynamics, etc. First filter on new deals Support portfolio companies on various initiatives Support operations team on accounting and investor relations matters Assist with special projects and internal ad hoc requests as needed
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 2-3 years experience in one of: investment banking, private equity, private credit, corporate finance Self-starter in an entrepreneurial setting and small team environment No-job-too-small attitude; no ego Interest or experience in the media industry and respect for creative talent-led businesses Fluent with GAAP financial statement analysis and financial modeling
