The MCX Team at Music creates experiences for music customers worldwide to discover and listen across all devices and platforms. We are a team of 400+ primarily tech roles that are builders of core and specific music benefits for every tier of Amazon Music. We are seeking a program manager who is the right leader to help us operate as a first-class team here at Amazon delivering on that mission! Key job responsibilities Tracking inputs and outputs of the music experience business. Owns mechanisms for our work and leadership review. Represents the experiences org across partnerships and processes Amazon-wide. Defines and maintains processes, culture, and community internally to do our best work. A day in the life Reports to the director/GM of MCX, as a peer with other senior managers and directors. Runs MCX leadership team meetings and org-wide events, calendars, business reviews, and other milestones and checkpoints where MCX rolls up to music-wide processes. Checks in with key workstreams on data and prioritization, progress, launches, and experiments in flight. Updates and maintains goal status and projections. Gains understanding of velocity and unblocks teams. Partners with ICs and managers who own major workstreams. General owner of the 'rhythm of business' for a large tech org. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of program or project management experience. Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements. Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of driving process improvements experience. Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
