POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager provides expertise across the company’s marketing channels. He/She is responsible for creating, planning, and executing internal and external sales/marketing strategies and events around brand recognition. This includes marketing materials, social media, newsletters, campaigns, press releases and other marketing activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads the development and execution of the marketing strategy and documents marketing across departments to drive sales growth
Works closely with key stakeholders to create and execute on marketing initiatives
Oversees copywriting across all customer and carrier communications
Plans, organizes, executes, and oversees internal and external events for client engagement, such as trade shows, roundtables, conferences, and internal events
Helps support campaigns to align to sales goals
Develops and implements marketing and sales materials such as email templates, sales introduction letters, customer packs, recruitment materials, etc.
Develops and leads marketing campaigns as related to Genpro’s target market
Manages marketing agency for outsourced functions
Manages the updates of the company website
Develops and manages calendar in regards to the timing of advertising and events
Develops and maintains guidelines and repository of approved visual assets
Reports on and analyzes the results of marketing campaigns
Consistently creates and refreshes on-going social media strategy
Manages marketing budget
Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar
Minimum of 5+ marketing experience required, with Logistics or Supply Chain background preferred.
Minimum of 3 year experience in creating and maintaining sales (ex: proposal writing) and brand content required.
Must be a self-starter with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude on undertaking of projects on his/her own initiative
Strong Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and other software programs required such as Canva
Expertise in using various social media platforms required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines required
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is a fast-paced, meeting frequent deadlines
