Geographic Information System Specialist

The Enterprise GIS Team is seeking a detail-oriented and fast-paced individual to work in a production environment. The GIS Editor will be responsible for creating and labeling GIS features using geo-located aerial imagery. Key Responsibilities: Create, QA/QC, and analyze GIS data. Utilize ArcMap for GIS editing and analysis. Communicate data errors effectively with GIS editors. Maintain detailed notes and track progress throughout the publication process. Adapt quickly to changing priorities. Qualifications & Experience: Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, or Environmental Sciences (with GIS emphasis). Experience editing linear GIS data, preferably with ESRI Network Datasets and Network Analyst tools. Proficiency in ESRI GIS editing tools, including ArcGIS Desktop. Familiarity with various GIS formats, including raster data imagery. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn and use customized GIS tools. Strong communication and attention to detail in documenting processes.
