Design Operations Manager
Sock Club is a growing company focused on providing high-quality branded custom socks and exceptional service to our clients in the B2B promotional products space. We are seeking a Design Operations Manager to join our design department and work alongside our Design Director. As Sock Club grows we have the opportunity to serve more clients, and the opportunity to reimagine how we balance speed, quality and the resources dedicated to our creative output. In this role you will be responsible for not only understanding and improving the mechanics of our daily design activities, but also own and shape the next iterations of our processes as we grow.
Responsibilities: What You'll Do
- Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of our design service flow and function, using data to connect creative work to sales results
- Get in the weeds to continuously improve day-to-day design processes, addressing points of friction through creative, effective solutions
- Bring together and leverage client and company data across departments to provide insights that allow us to deliver consistent quality and inform design decision-making and strategy
- Conceptualize, develop and implement team-wide process changes to drive growth and empower our design team to deliver our same quality of service at a larger scale
- Collaborate across departments to understand and advocate for design needs in cross- team internal processes and software
Qualifications: What You'll Bring
- Experience and a proven track record in operations, workflow design, and automation tool experience
- Relevant professional bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience building and rolling out new tools as well as managing organizational change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and upper management
- Experience and enthusiasm for working with creative teams
- A dedication to connecting creative work to data driven decision making
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
- Previous design experience as well a strong working knowledge of design tools and
- Previous B2B or Promotional Product experience is a plus!
