The Social Media Intern will assist the NRF social media director with planning and creating social content that grows and enhances the NRF’s social channels.
Essential Functions
- Assist with weekly analytics and reporting
- Assist with development of social campaigns and daily social content needs, including social video
- Research social landscape and make recommendations based on current trends and best practices
- Write news summaries for daily NRF SmartBrief newsletters
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be rising junior or senior with coursework or experience in marketing, communications, English or digital strategy.
- Must be a strong writer with strong social media background.
- Must have basic graphic design skills relevant for social media content
- Must be curious, creative and have strong critical thinking skills
- Must be detail oriented, organized and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
