As the Head of Marketing Operations, you will serve as a key member of the marketing leadership team, responsible for developing and leading a world-class marketing operations function. You will build scalable processes, manage critical infrastructure and tools, oversee marketing performance measurement, and optimize the end-to-end marketing workflow across our complex, matrixed organization. This role will enable marketing to deliver measurable impact on business growth while fostering collaboration and alignment across global teams. The role reports to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing and is based in the New York office. To foster continuous collaboration, at least three days in the office per week is required. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Build and scale a marketing operations function that supports the organization’s goals, streamlining processes across campaign planning, execution, and reporting in a complex enterprise environment. Marketing Technology: Oversee the marketing tech stack, ensuring the effective selection, integration, and management of tools such as CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation (Eloqua), analytics platforms (Tableau, GA4), and collaboration systems (Asana, Jira). Data & Analytics: Oversee a comprehensive marketing analytics and reporting framework to measure ROI, track performance, and inform data-driven decision-making across the global marketing organization. Budget Management: Partner with finance to track the global marketing budget, optimizing resource allocation and maintaining transparency for all stakeholders. Cross-Functional Alignment: Foster collaboration between marketing, sales operations, corporate systems, and decentralized teams to ensure alignment of strategies, goals, and processes. Team Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing operations team, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards in all marketing operations, especially those involving data privacy and security. Change Management: Lead transformation initiatives to continuously improve marketing processes, integrate marketing processes from acquired companies, introduce best practices and drive adoption across global teams. Qualifications: Experience: 12+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or related functions, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a large matrixed enterprise. Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. Expertise: Deep understanding of marketing technology ecosystems, analytics frameworks, and operational workflows. Enterprise Acumen: Proven success working in a global, multi-product, matrixed organization, navigating complex structures, and driving alignment across diverse stakeholders. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data, derive insights, and communicate findings to executive stakeholders. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and a shared commitment to excellence. Adaptability: Track record of managing and driving change in dynamic environments while bringing stakeholders on the journey and engaging in collaborative problem solving.
