Our San Francisco office operates on a hybrid schedule, with in-office work Monday-Thursday and remote-optional work on Fridays.
About the Job
Our San Francisco office is looking for a talented, creative, and enthusiastic designer with experience across all phases of architecture. You should be passionate about contributing to the creative design process and bringing projects to life in the built environment. Our ideal candidate is self-driven and able to balance self-directed work while also collaborating with fellow employees and reporting to the Project Manager. Responsibilities will span all phases from concept to construction administration, including but not limited to:
- Assist in the design of project sites and building massing based on planning codes and regulations
- Assist in programming spaces, layout and design of residential units and amenity spaces, interior design, and facade design
- Produce design drawings, graphic presentations, renderings, and visualizations
- Produce design and construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules
- Actively participate in team meetings and client meetings
- Work collaboratively and coordinate with external design consultants
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture
- 3-5 years of professional experience
- On a path to professional licensure
- Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills
- 3-D modeling and rendering experience (Rhino, Sketchup, VRay, Enscape, Grasshopper)
- Graphic layout experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, willingness to collaborate and learn
- Self-driven, ability to self-direct and organize
- Detail oriented and thorough, able to carry design from concept through realization
- Familiarity with planning codes and building codes
- Interest in future leadership positions
Preferred Qualifications:
- LEED Certification
- Experience with multi-family residential, mixed-use, and high-rise buildings
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
