We are seeking a creative and highly experienced Corporate Video Producer with an established track record of managing a team of content creators in a fast-paced and demanding environment. This individual reports to the Production Team’s lead producer and oversees the execution of firm and business unit videos globally within Blackstone’s Marketing organization. It requires a strong understanding of financial services and all aspects of video creation from concepting, to budgeting, directing talent and working with our internal postproduction team as well as external agencies and production companies.
Responsibilities
Optimize and Execute the Firm’s Video Strategy
Serve as the central point of contact for all matters related to Blackstone’s firm and business unit videos.
Sustain the firm’s high volume of video output related to thought leadership, investment case studies that service paid campaigns, events, internal comms and more.
Build and maintain relationships with business unit stakeholders as they scale their video marketing strategy.
Partner with marketing team members across verticals (investment content, digital, design, events, advertising) on video messaging, execution and channel best-practices.
Scale the firm’s video capabilities globally by sourcing and overseeing external partners in EMEA and APAC.
Produce and Direct Original Video Content
Work with the broader marketing organization to lead video shoots with the firm’s senior executives.
Conduct on-camera interviews, oversee shoots and collaborate with key stakeholders in post.
Actively project manage asset development, including organizing timelines and stakeholder reviews, track execution progress, and proactively flagging potential roadblocks with marketing partners.
Serve as a key advisor on the creation and execution of commercials and paid video advertising.
Develop new creative formats and execution methods for video content.
Manage a Team of Video Creators
Mentor and manage a team of several video producers who execute hundreds of video assets annually.
Review and refine video edits, providing feedback and ensuring high-quality, on-message content that meets technical and aesthetic standards.
Constantly refine all video production workflows.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in corporate video production or similar agency experience.
3+ years of experience managing a team of creatives.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Understanding of video formats and optimization techniques for social media.
Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Film, Communications, or a related field.
Expected annual base salary range: $160,000 - $225,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
