The tarte Visual Merchandising team is seeking a junior level project coordinator to support the global visual merchandising team. This is not a design or creative position. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years experience in prestige beauty or retail display production.

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Director of Visual Merchandising to support the development + execution of 4+ permanent fixture updates and up to 15+ promotional units.
  • Coordinates with cross functional teams to receive and organize new product samples.
  • Compiles sample shipments and brief decks to external vendors for project kick off.
  • Routinely update working decks with latest renderings and project scope.
  • Receive + set up update prototypes, work with visual merchandising director to compile feedback decks to vendors.
  • Support graphic designers to proof artwork and graphic planograms against product assortments for accuracy.
  • Save and track project quotes and invoices from external vendors.
  • Maintain portfolio of competitive merchandising as inspiration, go on store checks to keep abreast of new design innovations.
  • Keep workspaces and office gondolas updated and well organized with the latest updates in collaboration with the Visual Merchandising Intern.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate has 1-2 years experience in either retail display production or prestige beauty corporate creative operations.
  • Experience with shipping via FedEx or DHL, global experience in composing international shipping documents a plus.
  • Strong communication and organization skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple projects at various stages.
  • Proficient on a PC, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe & Word & Google G suite (intermediate knowledge of Adobe programs is a plus)
  • Foreign language skills are also a plus (European languages or Arabic in particular)
