To fuel this evolution, we are seeking an experienced Vice President of Marketing to build and execute a growth strategy that will amplify brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and establish a category-defining presence in the healthcare and medical device markets.

The Role
The Vice President of Marketing will play a critical role in scaling CIONIC from an early-stage startup into a dominant force in healthcare technology. This executive leader will be responsible for developing and executing a full-stack marketing strategy that drives business growth, accelerates market adoption, and positions the company as a compelling opportunity for Series B investors. Note: This role requires a highly strategic and execution-focused leader with proven experience scaling a VC-backed company—preferably in DTC, healthcare, medical devices, or consumer health tech. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in brand building, product marketing, demand generation, and growth marketing, with a track record of successfully positioning companies for investor confidence, next-stage funding and customer affinity. This role reports directly to, and works closely with, CIONIC’s CEO. Experience and expertise in Board interactions, fundraising and leadership team participation are key.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Growth & Market Expansion
  • Develop and execute a scalable marketing strategy that accelerates revenue growth and customer acquisition, driving Series B investment readiness.
  • Lead demand generation and go-to-market strategies to expand CIONIC’s market penetration, leading direct-to-consumer (DTC) - and supporting provider-driven adoption models.
  • Brand & Category Leadership
    • Develop a compelling CIONIC brand narrative that resonates with consumers, Vets, healthcare professionals, and investors, reinforcing the company’s mission and technological differentiation.
    • Cultivate thought leadership by leveraging PR, content, and strategic partnerships to drive industry credibility and awareness.
  • Investor & Market Readiness
    • Align marketing KPIs with Series B fundraising goals, ensuring clear traction, customer validation, and market adoption metrics for investors.
    • Develop materials, reports, and storytelling frameworks that effectively communicate CIONIC’s growth trajectory and market potential to the investment community.
  • Team Building & Leadership
    • Instill a culture of agility, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring marketing investments yield tangible business impact - while leading and mentoring top talent.
    • Partner cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer experience teams to ensure alignment across the customer journey.

    Qualifications Experience

    1. Proven track record of scaling a startup from early-stage (Seed/Series A) to a market-ready company positioned for Series B fundraising.
    2. 10+ years of marketing leadership experience, including experience in a senior marketing role at a VC-backed DTC, healthcare, medical device, or consumer health technology company.
    3. Expertise in growth marketing strategies + DTC marketing, ideally within healthcare or medical devices.

    Skills & Expertise

    1. Deep experience in brand building, product marketing, digital demand generation, and GTM execution.
    2. Deep understanding of paid and organic channel marketing strategies + tactics and a point of view on how to optimize performance + creative to drive eligible leads and conversions to purchase.
    3. Experience leveraging site UX, CRM, lifecycle marketing, and performance marketing tools to optimize lead conversion and customer retention.

    Leadership & Business Acumen

    1. Strong ability to translate business objectives into marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and investor confidence.
    2. Experience in fundraising storytelling with an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
