Job Overview
Position Schedule: Full-Time
The Digital Content Writer is responsible for using business requirements to write new content for our digital self-service platform, JonesLink. They will work directly with content owners / SMEs in order to optimize the content for search and self-service. They are responsible for ensuring the business needs are met through accuracy, consistency and timeliness.
Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program. Hiring Minimum: $61600
Hiring Maximum: $101600

- College degree with a concentration in communications, journalism, English or marketing, preferred.
- 1-3 years' experience in digital content management (preferably SharePoint), technical writing, journalism or related field required.
- Experience in writing for digital channels including web, social media, chat and other channels.
- Experience in optimizing web content for search.
- Experience in using content management systems and other content platforms.
- Project coordination experience is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
