About the Role

Kiln is seeking an Interior Designer (2-5 years experience) to help shape the future of co-working spaces. This role requires both technical expertise and creative styling to deliver exceptional environments that inspire and support our members. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing interior concepts that align with Kilns brand and mission.

Goals and Objectives:

Create world-class co-working spaces that foster productivity, connection, and inspiration.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest design standards.
Maintain consistency across locations while evolving Kilns design identity.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to bring Kilns brand to life through interiors.

As an Interior Designer at Kiln, You Will:

Design & Develop Spaces

  • Assist in space planning, test fit concepts, and detailed drawings.
  • Develop furniture, color palettes, and styling concepts that reflect Kilns brand.
  • Integrate Kilns graphic and visual identity into the overall design.

Execute & Oversee Projects

  • Attend project/site meetings and coordinate with build and procurement teams.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure seamless execution.
  • Play a hands-on role in installation and final styling touches.

Enhance Member Experience

  • Design spaces that enhance member engagement and well-being.
  • Maintain Kilns materials library and stay up to date on design trends.
  • Engage in the Kiln member network and contribute to social media content.

As an Interior Designer at Kiln, Youll Need:

  • 2-5 years of experience in interior design, preferably in commercial or hospitality spaces.
  • Astrong portfolio showcasing your design and space-planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Vectorworks or AutoCAD preferred).
  • Experience with visualization, rendering, and hand sketching.
  • Knowledge of ADA and office code requirements.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Adobe Suite, Slack, and Asana.
  • Strongcommunication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • A passion forKilns mission and values.
  • Willingness to work in-person in Lehi, UT and travel as needed.
