.Key Responsibilities
- :Scope research questions in alignment with cross functional tea
- mPlan research activitie
- sDesign study protocol
- Create highlight videos/screenshots
- .Conduct mix method research (qualitative & quantitative), user-centered design activities (persona development, journey-mapping and task-modeling), usability studies, and benchmarking
- .Analyze and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data
- .Creating findings and recommendation reports from user studies
.Required qualifications
- :Passion for delightful, minimalist, and useful products that people love to use
- .MS or PhD degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Industrial Design, Psychology, Applied Anthropology, Sociology, Marketing, or related field
- .3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience in an applied research setting in consumer research
- .Proficient in quantitative, qualitative and foundational research methods. Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product development phase
- .Experience with behavioral data analysis (connecting behaviors and usage data to attitudes and perceptions) and experimental design
- .Deep understanding of user-centered design activities e.g. persona development, journey-mapping and task-modeling
- .Excellent observational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and storytelling skills , including techniques to present research findings and communication and persuade through rich user journeys
.Additional preferred qualifications
- :Experience in consumer hardware research
- .Experience in international research.
- Experience in applied statistics and programming languages commonly used for data manipulation and computational statistics (such as SPSS, R, Python, etc), and with SQL
