ExpandIQ is hiring: Growth Marketer in San Francisco

A fast-scaling AI-powered SaaS startup backed by top-tier investors (Sequoia, Y Combinator, Scale VC) is seeking a Growth Marketer to drive scalable and creative growth strategies. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, wears multiple hats, and isn’t afraid to build from scratch.

This isn’t a traditional growth marketing role—you’ll be a full-stack growth operator, running 0-1 playbooks rather than optimizing an existing machine. You’ll lead demand generation, user acquisition, and conversion strategies, working closely with sales and product to drive self-serve revenue, enterprise pipeline, and brand awareness.

🚀 Your Mission

✅ Own & Optimize the Self-Serve Growth Funnel – Drive revenue, expansion, and activation across the platform.

✅ Build & Execute Demand Generation Playbooks – Generate mid-market & enterprise pipeline, refining ICP and intent signals.

✅ Get Creative – Growth could mean Reddit, community building, events, lifecycle marketing, brand campaigns, or technical setups.

✅ Manage the Entire Conversion Funnel – Obsess over testing, iterating, and improving every conversion point.

✅ Run Scrappy Growth Experiments – Move fast, take big swings, and iterate based on real data.

✅ Own & Optimize Email Marketing Funnels – Drive activation, retention, and expansion through lifecycle campaigns and automated nurture flows.

🎯 Who You Are

✔️ 4+ years of growth marketing experience at early-stage startups (preferably building a marketing function from the ground up).

✔️ Comfortable working in ambiguity – You’re scrappy, adaptable, and thrive in fast-moving environments.

✔️ Strong technical & analytical mindset – You love testing, iterating, and scaling high-converting strategies.

✔️ Creative & resourceful – You know how to drive impact without massive budgets.

✔️ Experience across multiple growth channels – Paid, organic, lifecycle, content, community, partnerships, and brand.

Compensation & Work Environment

💰 Salary: $150K - $185K + competitive equity

📍 Location: San Francisco preferred (NYC or remote for exceptional candidates)

🏢 Hybrid: 3+ days in SF HQ (Mission District) | Flexible remote for top candidates
