We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist and Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated team. As a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT), you will play a vital role in conducting comprehensive sleep studies and providing exceptional care to our patients. Your expertise in sleep staging and technical scoring will be essential as you adhere to AASM standards and contribute to quality assurance initiatives. You will collaborate closely with our Team Leader, Supervisor, Manager, and Medical Director to ensure the highest quality in diagnostic and therapeutic services within the Sleep Lab. Your commitment to excellent patient experiences will guide you in following hospital protocols and values. Key Responsibilities Include: Conducting patient assessments to identify specific needs related to sleep disorders. Performing polysomnography, extended EEG, MSLT/MWT, and oxygen application/titration. Providing airway management, trach capping, and blood gas sampling/analysis. Offering patient and family education about sleep disorders and treatments. Calibrating and troubleshooting diagnostic equipment and implementing new test modalities. Assisting in supply inventory oversight and mentoring new staff in the Sleep Lab. Covering additional responsibilities as needed. Department Specific Job Details: Sign on bonus available: $1,500.00 Requirements: RCP - Respiratory Care Professionals License (Ohio) No prior sleep technology experience required; we provide training to obtain RPSGT or SDS certification.
