Position Highlights The Social Media Coordinator will cultivate and maintain a consistent and distinct online brand personality for each of the following auxiliary services units: Student Unions, Parking & Transportation Services, Campus Stores.

As the auxiliaries' online personality, the Social Media Coordinator will strategically engage with various target audiences to build awareness and generate excitement about the auxiliaries' products and services and inspire action that drives awareness and revenue. This role involves managing social media platforms for our clients while staying informed about the latest trends and engagement strategies. click here . Duties & Responsibilities Manage all social media platforms used by the auxiliaries and ensure consistency between their online brand personalities and other marketing channels. Record and track social media content analytics in order to evaluate the platform strategy effectiveness and recommend changes as necessary. Maintain the brand standards of both the University and auxiliary services units and ensure all social media accounts illustrate and bring to life the overall mission and vision. Develop and implement social media marketing strategies for each auxiliary unit - Student Unions, Campus Stores and Parking & Transportation. Create, write and schedule engaging posts, graphics, videos and other content tailored to each social media platform. Monitor, analyze and report on social media performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies as needed. Create and implement social media advertising campaigns to promote products, services or events. Work with a wide variety of media to create relevant and engaging posts; including photography, video, text, audio, etc. Collaborate with the Creative Manager to ensure alignment of social media strategies with the broader marketing goals. Evaluate analytics, develop and recommend strategies as necessary. Ensure content aligns with legal, ethical and platform and University specific guidelines. Remain informed on the latest social media trends, best practices, etc. and ensure the auxiliaries' social media platforms stay relevant to various target audiences. Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of the latest social media trends and engagement strategies. Knowledge of social media management tools. Ability to create and manage content. Ability to review, monitor and analyze content engagement. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Physical Requirements Ability to carry/move up to 25 lbs. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing and developing content for multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and X.
