About the Role:
Ten Gun Design is looking for a Content Manager local to Washington State who will work to coordinate and produce marketingwebsite pages for Xbox Digital Marketing. The Content Manager is responsible for the facilitation of projects between the client andour production team, including coordinating project deliverables, determining scope, creating project timelines, conducting clientreviews, and producing production documents. An ideal candidate should have a strong project management or content productionbackground, ideally with experience in website management. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work within the videogame marketing industry on a multi-disciplined team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Please note this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through Ten Gun Design. If you are selected for this role, you will be a full-time employee of TGD contracted to Microsoft and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Responsibilities:
- Web project coordination and execution Develop project timelines, coordinate teams, and ensure timely delivery.Organizational skills and deadline management are key to handle project trackers, workback schedules, and teambandwidth.
- Develop design briefs and project spec documents Communicate project requirements clearly to creative and
technical teams, lead creative reviews, and facilitate approvals from stakeholders. - Coordinate content flow between designers, producers, writers, and partners You will serve as the primary
liaison, ensuring all parties remain aligned and well-informed. This necessitates strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Facilitate approval process on content deliverables Collaborate with stakeholders across product, marketing, andlegal teams to ensure all content meets standards. Proactively identify and escalate potential issues to ensure timelyapprovals.
- Workflow Optimization and Documentation We are constantly refining our workflows, and you'll play a key role in this process. This includes documenting processes, creating project plans, and contributing to reports and presentations.
- Proactive Problem-Solving Anticipate, identify, and escalate potential issues with projects, providing
recommendations for resolution. Your ability to proactively address challenges and find solutions will be crucial in this fast-paced environment. - Meeting Communication and Collaboration You'll be an active participant in internal and client status meetings,providing clear and concise updates on project status, timelines, and any potential roadblocks.
- Assist with special projects You'll have the opportunity to contribute to special projects and initiatives that go beyond the day-to-day, allowing you to expand your skillset and take on new challenges
Minimum Qualifications:
- 0-3 years experience required
- Experience working in digital website production
- Experience delivering large volume projects on time and to spec
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices
- Experience with website accessibility best practices, including writing alt text and aria labels
- Familiarity with HTML
- Ability to work on tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal skills, and able to effectively communicate with both internal and external partners
- Professional experience leading meetings and creative review sessions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional level competency with Microsoft Office suite
- Abstract reasoning ability and logical, critical thinking skills
