Job Description The Senior RF Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of high-performance RF systems and components along with supporting existing designs with obsolescence and updates. Components such as his includes such as antennas, amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, and filters. TThis role requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in RF design, simulation, testing, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in RF engineering and be capable of working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Most of our designs are 6GHz and under, however, there could be potential for developing above this range.
Duties: Lead the design and development of RF components and systems, which may include antennas, amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, and filters. Conduct RF simulation and modeling to predict performance and optimize design, if required by the design. Create and implement test plans for RF systems and components, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards. Perform RF testing and troubleshooting using advanced measurement equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators. Be familiar with RF Test automation and best practices. Required Skills & Experience 7 + years of experience in RF design and engineering in radio test or avionics Design of Software Defined Radios Experience with Altium Designer RF Testing equipment experience - using advanced measurement equipment like network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators Experience with RF simulation tools (e.g., LTSpice, ADS, CST) Nice to Have Skills & Experience Master's degree in electrical engineering with RF focus DOD experience
Compensation : Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
