Position Description The Senior Marketing Business Partner is a critical role within Culligan’s Global Marketing Center of Excellence, serving as a trusted advisor to the CMO and a key contributor to the operational efficiency and strategic direction of the department. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial activities related to marketing (including tracking and forecasting expenses), managing key performance indicators (KPIs) and data analytics, driving strategic projects, and providing operational support to the marketing Center of Excellence (CoE) to enable informed decision-making and optimal resource allocation. Key Position Responsibilities
Financial Management and Analysis
Lead all financial (planning and day-to-day) activities for the Global Marketing Center of Excellence, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Provide detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Collaborate with Finance and other departments to streamline financial processes and ensure compliance. Vendor negotiations with procurement to achieve optimal pricing.
KPI and Data Management
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Implement and oversee data management processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting of marketing performance metrics. Analyze marketing data and trends to provide actionable insights.
Strategic Project Management
Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of high-impact marketing projects. Develop and implement best practices for project management.
Operational Support
Prepare presentations, reports, and analyses for executive meetings. Support ad hoc requests and special projects as assigned.
Skills
Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data. Exceptional project management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial/operational tools. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.B.A.) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration; MBA preferred. 4-6 years of experience in FP&A as a business partner for Marketing teams. Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint required. Experience with PowerBI or more advanced skills for visualization of data. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt in fast-paced and dynamic environments. Compensation Package $120k - $130k base salary plus bonus.
